The AERO Reading Curriculum is a comprehensive tutoring and intervention curriculum to help early elementary students make gains in decoding skills and reading. The AERO Reading Curriculum uses online assessments to guide individualized instructional plans that are delivered to students in small groups (one to four students at a time). AERO uses curriculum-based measures which help AERO instructors know which skills to focus on during their sessions. These assessments also help instructors monitor students’ mastery of taught concepts to allow them to make data-driven adjustments to instruction.
AERO includes:
- Detailed lesson plans for over 200 lessons across nine levels
- Easy access to all lesson materials
- Program placement and progress monitoring tools
- Student, group, class, school, and parent level reports
AERO materials include scripted lessons for each of the nine levels in the curriculum.

Lessons include the following components:
- Fluency Practice (students re-read a selected portion of a text)
- Word Study (interactive letter-sound activities)
- Next Text Reading (students read a new decodable text with a focus on comprehension)
